Jan. 14--WAGE INCREASES INCLUDED IN NEW ORGANICHEM CONTRACT: Albany Molecular Research Inc. has reached a new labor agreement with 105 workers employed at its Rensselaer-based subsidiary, Organichem Corp.
The three-year pact, ratified Saturday by Local 61-C of the International Chemical Workers Union, provides for wage increases and performance-based incentive programs, company officials announced Tuesday. No details on the contract were provided.
In a statement, both sides said they were pleased with the deal.
