NSW: Govt working to avoid Sydney bus strike

The State Transit Authority says it's working to avoid a snap 24 hours strike called
by disgruntled Sydney bus drivers.

It says discussions with the Rail Tram and Bus Union are ongoing .. and any suggestion
the STA abandoned the talks is wrong.

Drivers are planning to walk off the job from 4am (AEDT) on Friday until 4am (AEDT)
on Saturday .. as a result of a pay dispute.
