Fed: Three diggers wounded in Afghanistan

Three Australian soldiers have been wounded in roadside bombings in Afghanistan.

The defence department says none of the wounded soldiers has life-threatening injuries.

Two incidents occurred on Friday and another two today.

There has been an increase in insurgent activity in Afghanistan in the lead-up to the
elections later this month.
